After many years of working in PR and Marketing and having almost retired, last year I decided to see if I could write a novel. Since getting my first job as an industrial journalist, I had always promised myself that I would one day try my hand at writing fiction. I now had the time and wrote my first book Murders of Consequence. I could not have imagined the incredible enjoyment in writing fiction and later last year completed Murders of Necessity. Now my latest book, Murders of Misfortune, is available at Amazon Kindle and I hope that you enjoy it. To read more about my novels please go to the Books page.
A message to my readers
If you enjoy a good crime thriller, set in the 1960s and featuring beautiful, yet remote parts of England and Europe, then will certain enjoy reading my books.
In the days before computers, DNA and mobile phones, crime investigations moved at a slower pace. Full of nostalgia from this exciting decade, older readers enjoy the memories and younger readers love finding out how life was in those days.
My second book, which has only just been published features, in particular, the dramatic North Norfolk coast, with its many small towns and villages that have changed little from the 1960s
The picture shows Cromer, which is perhaps the best preserved of these towns. The photograph was taken from the Church Tower and looks down on the streets in which the drama takes place.
